Royal Caribbean scoops gong
20/11/2008 @ 13:23

A luxury Caribbean cruise company has been named Best Luxury Cruise Operator at the TravelWeekly China Industry Awards 2008.

Royal Caribbean International's expansion into the Asian market has seen it quickly become the number one cruise operator in the area.

Traditionally, Royal Caribbean Cruises serve islands such as the Bahamas and Antigua, but it opened a Shanghai office in July 2007 and has been giving potential investors in luxury Caribbean property in the Orient a taste of the Caribbean closer to home.

Royal Caribbean Cruises country manager for China Eve Lu expressed her pride at collecting the award.

"This is a great achievement for us to receive this award, in just our first year of service in Asia," she said.

"It is a testament to the high service standards that Royal Caribbean is well-known for, onboard our ships and in our operations throughout Asia especially in China."

The company also offers cruises throughout the sun-kissed Caribbean, where visitors can take a break from the wonderful Caribbean cuisine and entertainment on board to enjoy sunning themselves on a beautiful beach or taking part in some of the archipelago's many water sports.
